Timeline:
1948-Polaroid Model 95
On November 26, 1948, the first Land camera was sold for $89.95. This camera became the prototype for all land camera for the next 15 years.
1963-Polacolor/Model 100
This camera made history, with the first instant color film.
The same year polaroid also released the Model 100, it was the first fully automatic pack film and exposure control.
1965-Polaroid Swinger
In 1965 Polaroid released the Swinger. This camera caught the eye of the younger generation.
1972- Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera
This camera offered a features not yet seen by Polaroid users it was fully-automatic, motorized, and folding capabilities with instant color prints.
This camera attracted many consumers, within a year of release Polaroid was producing 5,000 cameras a day.
1977-Polaroid OneStep Land Camera
The Polaroid OneStep was an inexpensive fixed focus camera. This became the best-selling camera out of instant and conventional cameras in the United States.
1981-Polaroid Sun 600 System
The Sun 600 used Type 600 color film. They used the Muppets for commercials and print ads to help promote this camera.
1986-Polaroid Spectra System
This camera was introduced 38 years after the first Land camera was announced.
1992-Polaroid Captiva
The Captivia camera was designed for instant portraits it was ultra-compact.
1997 Polaroid OneStep
The Polaroid OneStep had a rounded body style with various color options.
1999-Polaroid iZone
The iZone camera was pocket size with thumbnail prints. It came in a variety of colors and was a hit amongst teens.
2008-Polaroid PoGo
The Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer, Polaroid partnered with ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology and the manufacturers of ZINK Paper.
2011-Polaroid Z340/GL10
The Z340 is a fully functioning digital camera with a built in printer. Polaroid partnered again with ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology.
This camera allowed you to instantly turn your digital images into 3x4 prints.
Polaroid also released the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer in 2011 which allowed users to instantly print images from their mobile devices.
2012 Polaroid Z2300
The Z2300 was again an instant digital camera they partnered with ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology to now print 2x3 sticky-back photos.
2014-Polaroid Cube
The Polaroid Cube as the smallest Polaroid lifestyle action camera. The Cube is a 35mm camera that is weatherproof, shockproof, mountable, and packable. Not only does this camera take pictures it also has 1080p HD video, 124' wide-angle lens, and a built in battery that can record up to 90 minutes.
2016-Polaroid Snap Touch
The Polaroid Snap Touch allows users to snap, print, and share instantly. This product is app-driven and has Bluetooth connectivity.
